Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 will finally air today. From the time, Ekta Kapoor announced that she will be rebooting one of her old shows, everybody wanted to know what it was. Many even thought she was getting a TV version of Karan Johar's blockbuster Kabhi Kabhie Khushi Gham. But Ekta shunned all such rumours and revealed soon after that Kasautii Zindagi Kay will be back in our lives with the second season. Since then all people could talk about was who will be the new-age Prerna and Anurag. Ekta Kapoor got Shah Rukh Khan to reveal that to the audience and we realised the show is much bigger than we thought. About Kasauti Zindagi Ki serial on Star Plus

TV czarina Ekta Kapoor (Balaji Telefilms) is all set to bring back season 2 of Kasauti Zindagi Ki on Star Plus i.e. Kasautii Zindagii Kay.

The original show aired between 2001-2008 with Shweta Tiwari, Cezanne Khan and Ronit Roy in the lead roles.

Popular TV actress Erica Fernandes who won several hearts with her role as Sonakshi Bose in Sony tv Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi has been roped into play the female lead role of Prerna Sharma in Kasauti Zindagi Ki 2.

Handsome and talented actor Parth Samthaan who is popular for his role of Manik Malhotra in MTV India’s Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan has been roped into play the male lead role opposite Erica Fernandes (prerna) in Kasauti Zindagi Kay. He will essay the role of Anurag in Kasauti Zindagi Ki.

Also, actress Hina Khan (Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai ) has been roped in to play to enact the iconic part of Komolika in Ekta’s remake of Kasauti. Komolika, vicious & vivacious, is a pillar to the plot and in the past, Urvashi Dholakia has literally lived the character in last season.

It is still not sure who will get into play the iconic role of Ronit Roy as Mr Bajaj in Kasauti Zindagi Ki 2.
